Overview

Summary/objective

The Managing Director of BlueDriver is the commercial leader who provides vision and strategies to drive the growth of BlueDriver for both B2C and B2B customers. This individual will collaborate across the Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Sales teams to help deliver increasing value to the DIY consumer who purchases a BlueDriver online and the B2B customer who leverages BlueDriver within their business.

• Establish company goals and objectives, both short and long-term
• Develop business plans and strategies
• Present reports on the business performance
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to establish Product Roadmaps and Marketing Strategies
• Collaborate with the Sales team to drive revenue growth of the business
• Establish themselves as a subject matter expert and present thought leadership at various events and through marketing campaigns
• Experience growing e-commerce businesses with Amazon
• Experience establishing channels of distribution for consumer and industrial products

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
• Over ten years of progressive responsibilities in business management
• Experience in establishing business goals and strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities
• Extensive experience developing and delivering annual operating budgets
• Experience working, presenting, and communicating with key stakeholders
• Knowledge: Strong experience in strategic planning, market research, and analysis techniques and tools.

• Ability to work cross-functionally & interact with leadership at all levels of the organization
• Ability to interpret complex data and distill it into concise, relevant presentations for an executive audience

Supervisory responsibilities
This role has no supervisory responsibilities

Work environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer and phone.

Physical demands
This is essentially a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and essential office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.

Travel required
This position requires 30-50% travel.
