Summary/objective
The Director of E-Commerce will lead the strategy and execution of all e-commerce initiatives for BlueDriver MAX, including direct-to-consumer sales, Amazon marketplaces, Walmart, and other e-commerce platforms. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing digital sales performance, managing platform-specific advertising strategies, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Director will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, and leadership to align e-commerce initiatives with broader business objectives.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to maximize sales, profitability, and brand presence across all online platforms.
- Oversee and manage the day to day operations of all online sales channels, including the company website, Amazon (US, Canada, and international), Walmart, and additional e-commerce marketplaces.
- Drive revenue growth by optimizing product listings, pricing strategies, SEO, and conversion rate optimization across all platforms.
- Lead and manage platform-specific ad campaigns, including Amazon Advertising (PPC), Walmart Connect, Google Shopping, and other paid media initiatives.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, collaborating with fulfillment teams to optimize stock levels and prevent supply chain disruptions.
- Daily Data & Listing Maintenance: Conduct regular “health checks” on storefronts (Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify), proactively troubleshooting listing errors, investigating sales or traffic drops, and addressing any platform policy or technical issues.
- Identify competitors and market growth opportunities, analyzing trends to refine competitive positioning and expansion strategies.
- Establish and maintain weekly and monthly reporting on e-commerce performance, providing executive summaries and strategic insights to leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with key personnel at online marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, and emerging digital retail partners.
- Analyze e-commerce performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies, sales performance, and customer acquisition tactics.
- Stay ahead of marketplace policies, trends, and algorithm updates, ensuring compliance and competitive advantage.
- Maintain awareness of emerging e-commerce technologies and industry developments that could enhance business performance and competitive positioning.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and implement a customer engagement strategy, including post-purchase follow-ups, review generation, and loyalty programs.
- Identify and evaluate new e-commerce growth opportunities, including expansion into additional marketplaces and emerging digital sales channels.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team on digital content, seasonal promotions, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Provide leadership and guidance to internal teams and external partners to scale e-commerce operations effectively.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, providing regular reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record of scaling Amazon, Walmart, and direct-to-consumer sales.
- Strong expertise in Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience leading platform-specific digital advertising campaigns (Amazon PPC, Walmart Connect, Google Shopping, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Deep understanding of SEO for e-commerce, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and performance analytics.
- Experience with inventory planning, demand forecasting, and fulfillment coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Google Analytics, Amazon Brand Analytics, and marketplace performance reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or tech-driven industries is a plus.
- Ability to develop, implement, and optimize growth strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Work environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
Physical demands
This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment
