Overview

Summary/objective

The Account Manager will support the Sales & Operations teams by building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with Repairify’s products and services. This position will identify new business opportunities by understanding current customer needs and proactively address them.

  • Independently develop account strategies and build relationships with customers
  • Reach out to customer locations through in-person visits, phone calls and other communication methods to conduct consultative business reviews, converting additional revenue opportunities and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet and exceed call volume standards along with other key performance indicators
  • Increase the volume and revenue from existing customers
  • Ensure existing customers know and understand the benefits of all available asTech service offerings
  • Train users on asTech® products and services to ensure they receive maximum benefit
  • Utilize all appropriate means to research, respond to and resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Develop and implement a customer contact plan to achieve sales quota
  • Communicate and report customer business issues internally within Repairify to educate and inform management
  • Collaborate with other Repairify teams to identify workflow improvements and sales opportunities
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the business model and serve as a liaison between the customers and the organization.
  • Work with Operations Managers to provide stellar customer service to customers
  • Generate new revenue by targeting existing accounts to sell new products and services
  • Create and maintain positive partnerships with existing target accounts
  • Document and report all activities in customer relationship management system, salesforce.com.
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain resilient and professional
  • Identify customer needs and concerns, set clear expectations, and provide guidance to help customers realize success in using Repairify technology and services
  • Identify new business opportunities from existing customers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
  • Account management or similar experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Track record for exceeding goals within established timelines
  • Must be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action

Supervisory responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

 

Physical demands

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent visits to various automotive repair shop environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. This position is responsible for driving their own personal vehicle to various locations with their assigned geographic area. Physical requirements also include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.

 

Travel required

This position may require up to 50% travel. May include air or vehicle travel outside the local area and overnight.
