Overview

Summary/objective

The Sr UX Designer is responsible for designing the overall functionality of products and ensuring a great user experience. This position will use creativity and design experience to develop creative solutions and user-friendly digital products.

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers and design team members to help drive the continuous evolution of the product design lifecycle.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Maintain and enhance existing design systems, as well as creating and managing new components within Figma.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and polish designs.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing complex design projects and measurable UX impact.
  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Proficient in Figma.
  • Experience working with design systems.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of UX design experience in a SaaS, enterprise, or B2B environment.
  • Experience building design systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus.
  • Experience working in Microsoft DevOps.

Supervisory responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

 

Physical demands

Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.

 

Travel required

This is a remote based position but occasional travel may be required for team meetings and/or to meet with customers.
