Overview

Summary/objective

The Amazon E-Commerce Manager will be a key member of the marketing team, responsible for executing e-commerce initiatives for BlueDriver and BlueDriver MAX. This role will lead day-to-day operations across our Amazon 3P storefronts, support direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales through our website, and assist with Walmart and other marketplace platforms as needed.

 

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and performance-driven, with strong experience in Amazon Seller Central and a deep understanding of what it takes to drive sales, optimize listings, manage platform advertising, and troubleshoot issues in real-time. This position will work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure seamless execution aligned with brand standards and business goals.

  • Support the execution of the e-commerce strategy for Amazon and related channels, with a focus on sales performance, profitability, and optimization.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Amazon marketplaces and assist with other marketplaces as needed.
  • Optimize Amazon product listings, pricing, keywords, and content to drive sales and improve conversion rates.
  • Execute and monitor platform-specific ad campaigns, including Amazon Advertising (PPC), making recommendations for ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with the fulfillment and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and avoid stockouts or overstocking on Amazon.
  • Daily data & listing maintenance: Conduct regular “health checks” on storefronts (Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify), proactively troubleshooting listing errors, investigating sales or traffic drops, and addressing any platform policy or technical issues.
  • Monitor competitive listings and share insights that inform pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.
  • Create regular performance reports for Amazon sales, ad performance, and listings to support internal planning and optimizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key personnel at online marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, and emerging digital retail partners.
  • Analyze e-commerce performance metrics to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and inform optimization efforts.
  • Stay up to date on Amazon policies, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain listing compliance and visibility.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with the marketing team on digital content, seasonal promotions, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal teams and external partners to scale e-commerce operations effectively.
  • Track key Amazon KPIs and contribute to regular reporting and performance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on managing and growing sales on Amazon (3P); experience with Walmart and DTC is a plus but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, including listing optimization, pricing, advertising, and backend troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Walmart Seller Center, Shopify, or other marketplace platforms.
  • Experience executing or supporting Amazon PPC campaigns; knowledge of other platforms like Walmart Connect or Google Shopping is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SEO for product listings, conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices, and storefront maintenance.
  • Solid data and reporting skills, including use of Amazon Brand Analytics, Business Reports, and tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or similar tech-forward consumer products is a strong plus.
  • Ability to contribute to and execute e-commerce growth initiatives in alignment with broader marketing or sales strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and fulfillment teams.

Supervisory responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

 

Physical demands

This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment
