Overview

Summary/objective

The Director of Account Managers is responsible for directly leading a team of Sales Account Managers in driving all profitable revenue growth via existing customers. This position will design, implement, and manage sales strategies that support the Repairify company mission.

  • Effectively manages the use of CRM, data portals, and other resource tools to grow existing customer revenue.
  • Responsible for the development and optimal deployment of Account Managers
  • Teach, train, motivate, coach, provide appropriate resources to the assigned Account Manager sales team optimizing revenue growth of existing customers
  • Provides monthly sales analysis presenting data to the team and VP, Sales Operations to guide sales efforts.
  • Establishes and maintains culture of exceptional customer service throughout the departments and sales team. 
  • Works closely with senior sales leadership and customer (facility, shop, etc.) to define the key performance measurements required to ensure sales organization success.
  • Provides clear direction and aligns reporting, training, and incentive programs with established performance management priorities.
  • Executes on the sales plans, strategies and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry (body-shop / collision focused is preferred)
  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum five years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Minimum five years in a sales operations, business planning, or sales support management role.
  • Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have very strong analytical skills.
  • Experience at the regional / district level managing multi-site businesses.
  • Must be detail oriented. Demonstrate strong research, analysis, communication, and follow through skills.
  • Proven ability to learn, adapt, and achieve daily.
  • Ability to work with high degrees of professionalism in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work independently and show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Industry-specific knowledge in the automotive space is preferred.

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

 

Physical demands

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent visits to various automotive repair shop environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. This position is responsible for driving their own personal vehicle to various locations with their assigned geographic area. Physical requirements also include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.

 

Travel required

This position may require up to 50% travel. May include air or vehicle travel outside the local area and overnight.
