Quality Assurance Engineer. Repairify, Inc. dba asTech seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer in Plano, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX area). Evaluate pre-deployment applications to ensure that company standards are being met, code is being written to meet requirements and acceptance criteria is being met. Work in collaboration with product management and engineering to ensure the quality of the systems. Write tests plans and test cases for applications. Assist team with user story creation and maintenance. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations and/or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in projects across the organization. Work with developers and quality assurance engineers to better understand the products and processes as well as training and documentation. Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new applications under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality. Plan and execute periodic regression tests and report on results. Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and system goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify existing or potential issues. Other duties, as assigned. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Requirements – Education – Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in technology, computer science, systems engineering or a closely related field. Experience – One year of experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role designing, developing and executing test plans, quality review, and testing or other software quality assurance for automotive diagnostic software, OR one year of experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role with Quality Assurance experience in software quality assurance including experience in analysis, documentation and reporting on the Quality Assurance process.
